We placed this cache as a celebration of our first year of caching.
An easy find in a nameless little park. Very accessible. It is possible to drive right up to about about 5 metres from the cache.
Cache container is small ( 2nd size) but log area is a micro - so no room for anything else.
Bring your own pen and perhaps a retrieval too :)
Its funny how you can quickly forget what once used to be... When I first came to live in this area in the late 80's this was a huge overgrown orange orchard that had a large barbed- wire fenced dam at the southern end of this now park. We used to trail ride through with horses and chuck the occasional stick in the dam for the cattle dog to fetch. Nowadays my children and I like to bike ride here with the dogs and just sit and play and then see who can ride the fastest down to the bottom of the hill.
