The second of a few to be placed on a quiet stretch of the old roman road.
The Roman road Ermine Street can be traced for many miles. This particular area is what is left of the single track road running from the south toward Broughton with Scawby to the east.
This part of the footpath is blocked at the north and finishes in farmland to the south. There is parking available just off the A15 north of area to be explored. The route to the cache is easily accesible on foot but the last few yards to the cache can be overgrown in the summer.
There is less chance of meeting anyone else in this area, than is possible when attempting "Scawby One".
Once you have found the cache take the time to meander south down the path where you will spot the remains of the old road underfoot
There is also an abundance of wild flowers and rabbits in the spring and summer (mind the brambles).
It is possible to do a round route via Scawby and back if you are feeling energetic.
The unusual re-used equipment hiding the cache should be reasonably easy to find (you may wish to check the latin word in the title).
It contained a log, pencil, rubber ball and FTF certificate when placed. Please take your own pen/pencil just in case.
