Geocache Description:


This was my sons Eagle Scout project. After talking with some local veterans and reading articles in the newspaper about flags being found in dumpsters and just thrown out Taylor decided it was time to help. With the help of the American Legion. He installed this drop box for old or worn flags and the American Legion will give them the proper retirement they deserve. If you have never seen a Flag retirement ceremony it is something you ought to check out.
