Geocache Description:

This is one in a simple series of Christmas caches aims to illustrate and celebrate a popular Christmas song. The series is composed of twelve traditional caches, located within the copper coast area of the Yorke Peninsula. The series concludes with an optional additional puzzle cache which may be solved and claimed when the series is completed.

The Christmas song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is one of the most popular of all Christmas songs. Many versions have been developed over the years, generally incorporating a local or humorous flavour. Check out youtube for an entertaining couple of hours!
There are also claims that the song has a religious basis, each day referring to basic teachings of the Christian Faith.
