If you are a fan of TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, or ENT - this cache is for
YOU! But you don't have to be a Trekkie to enjoy this adventure.
This cache is one of a series of eight caches that are necessary to
find the ninth and final cache. Please visit the bookmarked list
for the other seven caches plus the final (GC39DF2). In order to
complete the final you will have to collect the number from inside
each cache. BE SURE TO KEEP TRACK OF WHICH SHIP HAS WHAT
NUMBER.
THE CACHE: You are looking for a 50 cal ammo box. You may
have to cross a small marsh depending on the season (there are
better places to cross than others).
This series of caches is located (with the happy permission of the
owner) in a horse pasture and corn field adjoining the small town
of Osceola, Pennsylvania. We are trying to generate some caching in
the rurals, as we tend to get limited hits here. PLEASE
NOTE: The rope fence along the road is electric, but is easy to
cross, just use caution. When caching during the growing season,
please don't tromp the baby corn. When caching in the pasture,
please realize that 8 horses and 2 ponies, while very friendly,
leave behind a lot of not so friendly things to walk around, so
watch your step. You may wish to watch your footing on the uneven
ground as well. Otherwise, the terrain isn't bad.
Warbird
A D'deridex Class cruiser, the Warbird literally resembles a large
predatory bird.
