The cache was placed as part of 44 44.444 challenge, which idea
is to place caches at 44 44.444 latitude. The cache was placed on
my 6th visit to the area after grabbing 5th FTF here.
There is an alternative way to the cache site. First check the
description for GC3A5JG
(not published yet, but coming) for the parking and the trail head
coordinates. Proceed along the trail towards the powerline. During
wet seasons leave the trail at N44 44.460 W63 31.938 and head
directly to the cache for about 100 m of mild bushwhacking through
the woods. A deep bog develops at 44° 44.475'N 63° 31.876'W when it
is raining a lot. The place looks dry on Bing Maps, so it can be
passable in the summer
