VM BJERGET
VM BJERGET stod færdigt i 2008.
Samme år blev det kåret til verdens bedste boligbyggeri
på World Architecture Fair i Barcelona.
Også senere har byggeriet vundet adskillige
prestigefulde priser.
Hele byggeriet startede egentlig
som et helt traditionelt boligbyggeri
og et separat parkeringshus. 2/3 af VM BJERGET er parkering
og den sidste 1/3 bolig
men det er netop denne sammensmeltning,
der har givet mulighed for et unikt projekt.
Boligerne ligger på en menneskeskabt bjergside.
Parkeringshuset ligger i bjergets indre
med usædvanlige, højloftede og katedrallignende rum
i alle regnbuens farver.
Parkeringsdelen danner fundamentet for de 80 række-
eller klyngehuse, som ligger ovenpå et skråt område
fra tiende etage i VM BJERGETS nordvestlige hjørne
til stueetagen i det sydøstlige hjørne
og som alle har store private taghaver.
VM BJERGET rejser sig i elleve etager
ud mod Ørestads Boulevard.
Den udstansede aluminiumsfacade ventilerer naturligt
i parkeringsdelen.
Facaden har været med til at give byggeriet dets navn
idet den er beklædt med 1.200 aluminiumsplader
som gengiver Mount Everests tinder
Kunstværket er intet mindre end verdens største fotografi
Boligterrasserne på Bjergets sydøst-skråning
giver med deres træfacader og beplantning
bygningen et helt anderledes og blødere udtryk
end aluminiumsfacaden.
VM BJERGET ligger tæt op af VM HUSENE
i et geometrisk samspil, som bevarer nabohusets udsigt
over byparken i Ørestad City og boligkvartererne
på det østlige Amager.
Cachen er small og indeholder:
log+blyant, samt byttesager.

VM MOUNTAIN
The VM MOUNTAIN stood finished in 2008.
Same year it was awarded the worlds best house building
at the World Architecture Fair in Barcelona.
Later on the buiding
has won several prestigious awards.
The construction started as a traditional house building
and a seperate parking area.
2/3 of the VM MOUNTAIN is parking
and the last 1/3 is residence but it is this fusion,
there has giving the opportunity for an unique project.
The living-quarters is lieing on a man-made mountain side.
The parking garage is located inside the mountain
with unusual, high sealing and cathedral like rooms
in all the colors of the rainbown.
The parking area forms the foundation
of the 80 terraced houses
that lies above an inclined area
from the 10th storey in the VM MOUNTAINS
northwest corner to the ground floor in the southeast corner
and has all private gardens on the roof.
The VM MOUNTAIN rises up 11 storeys
towards Ørestads Boulevard.
The punch out aluminiumfacade, ventilates naturally,
the parking area.
The facade has been an influence
giving the construction it's name,
as it is covered in 1.2000 aluminiumplates
that represents Mount Everests pinnacle.
The work of art is no less than the worlds biggest picture.
The terraces on the Mountains southeast-inclination,
provides, with it's treefacade and planting
a complete different og more soft expression,
than the aluminiumfacade.
The VM MOUNTAIN lies close to the VM HOUSES
in a geometrical interaction, that maintains the view
from the neighbour house of the citypark in Ørestad City
and the residential area in the eastside of Amager.
The cache is small and contains:
log+pencil and small items for exchange.
