Geocache Description:

Always amazes that after years and years in this area I can still stumble upon obvious places I have never been. Even more surprising is that no one has hidden a cache in this canyon called Hunter Canyon. Lots of shade. Sometimes water. A nice and quiet place to hike.

The trailhead is located along the Kane Creek (dirt) Road, about 7.5 miles west of its junction with Hwy 191 (McD's and Burger King). A large arch is located high on the right (looking up canyon) about a half mile from the trail head. The cache is hidden in a plastic container under rocks on the way up to the arch. It is not always easy to get a good GPS in these canyons but hopefully I have hidden it in an obvious place so if you get close you should find it. Start climbing out of the creek bed BEFORE you get to the big rock/cottonwood that's in the middle of the wash. After grabbing the cache you can continue up to the arch. There are rock cairns to help you find a good way. You'll be scrambling up sandstone and you'll be exposed at the arch. If you are afraid of heights, enjoy the view from the cache location.
