The cache is not at the posted coordinates. The cache is inside
the building. Hours of operation, and thus cache availability, are
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and
Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Reading is fundamental. But so is writing. This cache
focuses on the latter.
The cacher wanting to log this cache must first determine where
it is located within the building, and to do that, you will have to
solve the puzzle. The format of the information you need is "R
ABC.D RIF". (The "R" at the beginning and the "RIF" at the end are
part of the data you need, but are not part of the puzzle. Only the
A, B, C, and D need to be solved.)
So, without further adieu:
What the "Fonz" said = 7.
The creature that lives in a hive = 9.
Oh, say can you ___= 6.
The alliteration in "Dewey Decimal" = 5.
If you can figure out this extraordinarily difficult puzzle, you
will be able to find the cache and sign the log. However, when you
log your find online, embellish your log in the spirit of the cache
and fine fiction! Non-compliant logs may be deleted. Then again,
they may not be--this is a liar's cache! Bring a writing
instrument!
Permission to place this cache was granted by
the library director, Helen Rigdon. Many thanks to her and to
Franzzoey, who worked to get the cache shelved!
