Right off the Fire Tower Ridge Trail
One of the many underused trails in this area. Hope you enjoy this area as much as we do. At placement there was a row of thorn bushes between the trail and the cache that might get bigger in the summer.
This is part of the Pequannock Watershed and access is by permit only. You may obtain a hiking permit by mail : PO Box 319 Newfoundland NJ 07435 or in person at 223 Echo Lake Road, West Milford NJ 07480 ; Phone 973-697-2850. They also have new North Jersey Trails Map #115/116 , it shows this loop hike along with countless others.
