why is there a cracked telephone pole here?
View Ratings for GC39KR8
a giant old tree that used to grow on this corner fell over during a windstorm, cracking this telephone pole and denting the sign next to it. you can still see the stump of the old tree about ten feet south of the cracked pole. google street view shows the original tree and the pole!
the large building to the south-east is a retirement community so there are lots of eyes staring out of those windows -beware of muggles!
coordinates have been verified via google earth. if anyone has more accurate coordinates, please let me know!
this is my attempt at using the largest possible container for the available location.
the cache is located on public property and the container is unique, quite possibly the first of its kind in the seattle area! FTF prize is a signed dollar bill.
congratulations to Hypnopaedia for the FTF !
congratulations to CHCIF2 and FlyinErin for being second!
