This cache is part of the Color Series II. It contains a piece of the coordinates for the final. The cache name is the title of a song by Bobby Vinton which was popular when I was in high school, just after Edison patented the phonograph. The cache, the cache name and the FTF prize all share a common color. Because of the cache's color, it's really important that you rehide it well.
I am proud to have found this park and to be introducing it to you. I have driven past here many times, thinking that this was just another woodlot. Recently when driving by, I saw some benches, which piqued my curiousity. Parking on the wide shoulder on Jacksonville Rd., I ventured in, cache in hand. Imagine my surprise when I saw a constructed trail. There are defined trails, a trail sig
n, benches, a wooden footbridge over a stream, a pond and a sign showing illustrations of the local for a and fauna. In fact, there is everything a nature park should have, except a sign on the street telling you that it exists. I anticipate nearby cachers logging remarks that they never knew this place existed.
Because this is a borough park, I assume no night caching.
