Easy to walk (150m) to cache from nearby car parking area. Generally few muggles found in area. On the banks of the Goolwa Channel at the entrance to Currency Creek (HUNDRED OF GOOLWA - Section 2208) Mr Joshua Laffin, (after whom Laffin Point was called), established and worked a dairy farm with his wife Olive. They had six children. In 1872, he left the farm and took up the licence of the Corio Hotel at Goolwa, then later moved to Kadina as a hotel keeper. Joshua Laffin died at Yorketown in 1900.
The cache is a 10cm plastic container containing a logbook and other small items.
