Deadman's Island Traditional Cache

deroleek: My island caches Will be down until next year. Will need to buy new containers and get creative again. The last caches were just too hard for anyone I think. I invested a good amount in buried wooden treasure chest with fake gold coins, and no one ever found them on any islands. Any ideas for a new type of geocache is welcome in the meantime. I want it to be special.

Geocache Description:

A quick beach your boat and grab. Should be able to find the Geocache under an hour. Be Careful the hint may change difficulty to easy!

New cache installed 6/29/15. This is one of the larger nicer islands to camp on in S t.Joseph Sound. The best place to approach this island is from the North, for landing your vessel. Make sure you have shoes and I suggest pants for walking through the brush. There are hidden cactus around the west side of the island so watch your step. Take a moment to visit Carl's memorial. P.S Snap a Picture with Carl's memorial if you can find it!! P.S. The only thing I ask is if you find any litter could you please take some with you and dispose of it? The islands no longer have an aquatic reserve to take care of the cleanliness of the islands anymore and this action would really help out :)
