Geocache Description:

De reeks Geocaches "Langstkanaal" is gelegen langs het Albertkanaal . Zoals de naam zelf al zegt , ligt deze reeks langs het kanaal en niet in het kanaal . Loggen na zonsondergang wordt dan ook afgeraden .
Let op als je de straat oversteekt en wees op je hoede voor Muggles .

The serie Geocaches "Langstkanaal" is located along the Albert Canal . As its name implies is the serie located along the canal and not in the canal . Logging after sunset is not recommended .
Watch out when you cross the street and be aware of Muggles .

De spoorweg langs het Albertkanaal maakte vroeger deel uit van een normaalsporige buurtspoorwegaansluiting die in 1896 geopend werd . Het overslagstation was Ijskelder , die ten zuiden van de huidige Station Luchtbal was gelegen . Op 9 juni 1967 is de lijn overgenomen door de NMBS . De spoorlijn wordt enkel gebruikt voor het goederenvervoer al rijdt er tegenwoordig nog zelden een trein .

De bovenstaande coördinaten zijn fictief . Ook deze cache ligt langs het kanaal . Om deze cache op te lossen , heb je de codes nodig van de cachereeks "Langstkanaal 1 tot en met 5".
