Geocache Description:

Squirrels of Swift Alley have something to show you.

In Kenton where the Swifts nest every spring and fall during migration from Venezuela to Southern Alaska. "Vaux's swifts (say Vawks, not Voh) roost, famously, in their thousands in the large disused chimney at Chapman Elementary School, but the birds have lately taken to using the decommissioned chimney at Mackin's Auto Body in Kenton." - Oregonian

In April, May, August and September definitely check out this cache to see the Vaux's Swifts at their finest entering the Mackin's chimney at dusk and exiting at dawn. It's a stunning vortex of avian acrobatics.
