The Big Red Badgers Go to Pasadena Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

slbens: I hate to do it because I put a lot of time into these caches but there is extensive logging going on clear cutting some of the areas and then who knows. Time to let them go!

Geocache Description:

This cache series is a tribute to the Wisconsin Badger Football team heading to their seventh Rose Bowl Game on January 2, 2012. The Badgers first attended a Rose Bowl Game in 1953 with a 7-0 loss to Southern California. Their next try came in 1963 with another loss to Southern California 42-37. A long dry spell hit the football program and the next trip to Pasadena didn't come along until 1994. This year was also the first Rose Bowl win for the Badgers as they defeated UCLA 21-16. In 1999 they posted another win over UCLA 38-31. In 2000 they had another victory, this time over Stanford 17-9. In 2011 Bucky came up short against TCU 21-19 and on January 2, 2012 will be back at the Rose Bowl to take on the Oregon Ducks.
Go Badgers!

These caches are located on the Oak Ridge Trail part of the Juneau County Trails/Forest land with permission of Brian Lloyd of the Juneau County Parks and Forests Department. You are looking for a small container with a log and a pencil. There is room for small TBs and swag. Please rehide carefully, it looks like muggles are frequent visitors here. Cache is available in the winter.
