Buckingham U. Badger Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

slbens: I hate to do it because I put a lot of time into these caches but there is extensive logging going on clear cutting some of the areas and then who knows. Time to let them go!

Geocache Description:

This cache series is a tribute to the Wisconsin Badger Football team heading to their seventh Rose Bowl Game on January 2, 2012.

Bucky Badger is the official mascot of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His full name is Buckingham U. Badger and he attends all major sporting events for the Wisconsin Badgers as well as hundreds of other events around Wisconsin every year. Bucky wears a cardinal red and white Wisconsin sweater along with a gruff look on his face (the costumed-mascot version is decidedly cheerier, with a beaming smile).

These caches are located on the Oak Ridge Trail part of the Juneau County Trails/Forest land with permission of Brian Lloyd of the Juneau County Parks and Forests Department. You are looking for a peanut butter container with a log and a pencil with room for TBs and swag. Please rehide carefully. These caches are placed so they will be available in the winter. You may have to ski or snowshoe to them depending on the snow cover. This cache is off trail a short ways.

Parking is available at the trailhead N44 00.304 W090 13.177
