This is a quick "Park and Grab" cache. Container is about the size of a 35mm film canister.
Antelope Island is our favorite place to cache. It is accessible year round. There is an entrance fee to the Park, and also a fee to cross the Causeway. You can purchase a yearly Utah State Parks Pass, and a yearly Causeway Pass at the entrance gate, or at the Visitor Center. For Seniors (62 and older) the Utah State Parks Pass and the Causeway Pass is a total of $42. If you purchase at the first of a month, you effectively get a thirteen month pass. For non Seniors the Utah State Parks Pass is $70. Not sure if the Causeway Pass price doubles for non Seniors or not, but it is still a bargain. There are a multitude of hiking trails on the island. We have found by having the State Parks Pass, we visit more of the many varied Utah State Parks than we would have visited without the pass. We weren't aware of the Causeway Pass option until this year, and would have made even more use of Antelope Island had we had the Causeway Pass in previous years.
