Medium sized box with cammo tape. Named after one of the mountain bike trails close to the lake. FTF gets an MU keychain. Sorry if you are a KState or Jayhawk fan...
This is the first cache placed on this stretch of hiking/biking trails at Smithville Lake. There are many others placed on the other beautiful trails closeby.
Closest parking is at Sailboat Cove parking lot in Paradise, MO. 1.3 mile hike on paved trail from the Bonebender Trailhead. Entry fee in summer months. Alternate parking at Camp Branch Marina but the hike will be longer; about 4 miles. Also a summer entry fee. Because there are quite a few caches along these trails, as well as picnicking and hiking/biking, the entry fee is well worth it.
CAUTION: HANGING LIMB NEARBY...WARN LITTLE ONES NOT TO HANG ON IT. IT'S LODGED FOR NOW, AND I WILL KEEP IT MONITORED AND MOVE THE CACHE IF DEEMED TOO DANGEROUS.
