If dogs run free, why not me? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

hukilaulau: I crashed my way to the cache location and couldn't find it. This area has changed a lot. The dead tree it was under may have completely rotted away. The weeds have encroached almost to the Wertheim fence. Not a good spot any more...

Geocache Description:

Robinson Duck Farm County Park. Parking is at the dog run. Best way is to go around the dog run at the western edge near the driveway.

This was an active duck farm until the 80's. The big field was mainly used to grow grains for duck food.
The farm buildings and swimming ponds were to the east.
You can let your dog run free in the fenced area, but the area beyond that is off limits to dogs.
Last summer the field was not cut so it would not be as easy a walk as it is now.
No dogs or ducks were harmed in the placing of this cache!

The cache title is from an obscure Dylan song.

The best way to get to it now is to park at the dog park and then walk up the road to the "tree service" sign and go in from there. Then keep to the edge of the trees until you get to the cache.
Not easy, but an adventure.
