* About a month after New Mexico became the
47th state, Arizona followed up as the 48th
* In March of this year the great organization
known as Girl Scouts of the United States of America was founded
(later changed to Girl Scouts)
* While New Mexico was still celebrating its
statehood, 3 months later that famous ship the RMS Titanic strikes
an iceburg and 1,517 people were lost.
* Any Red Sox or Yankee (back then called New
York Highlanders) fans out there? Fenway Park hosts its first
profession ball game in April of this year. Sorry Yankee fans, they
lost 7-6.
* There were two births in Aug just a mere 8
days apart..Gene Kelly and Julia Child.
* Another event that involves 100? This is Team
J.A.R.'s 100th cache placement!!
