I am starting my foray into hiding caches with a short series of hides in small tucked-away parks. You should expect a variety of containers, hide types, sizes, and difficulties.
I have fond memories of parks like Heischman Park from throughout my life: as a kid, as a young married couple, as a parent of young children, now as a geocacher, and maybe someday as a grandparent.
My wife and I used to take our kids to play in this park all the time.
Please respect the people who enjoy these parks as family-friendly playgrounds. Limit your searching to daylight hours, and if there are too many muggles, try again later.
Please put the cap completely back on the container and hide it well so it doesn’t get muggled.
Congratulations to theLadyBee and the others on a joint FTF. Glad this series is bringing out families.
Based on feedback, I have upped the difficulty rating.
UPDATED 9-4-2016. After the old hiding location was lost to construction I have placed a similar container in a nearby spot. PLEASE CONCEAL THE CONTAINER WELL WHEN YOU PUT IT BACK - THANKS.
