Co-ordinates are for suggested parking, where there is space for two cars. Easily made into a circular walk – look on a map! We walk in this area regularly and have seen deer a number of times, especially in the summer. Paths can be rather muddy in winter. They say that jewels and precious stones last forever, but it was quite a revelation to me when I searched for precious stones on the Internet. I hadn’t realised that there is a difference between precious and semi-precious stones. There seemed to be so many different types I didn’t know where to start to look. So I turned to the source of all knowledge and found a list of 21 precious treasures. Some people try to look for meaning in precious stones and others are prepared to sell everything for the one perfect stone. If I was going to make precious stones the foundation of my life then I would have to list my favourite precious and semi-precious stones as: • topaz • jasper • agate • chrysolite •ruby • beryl I hope that this spurs you on to finding the hidden treasure as it has me!
