On Christmas Day 2011 we were exploring the south shores of the Salton Sea when we encountered this giant Three Legged Alien Spider. Being 20' high we saw it from a distance. In fact it reminded us of the creature from the 1957 Leo G. Carrol Movie "Tarantula"
