After finding Mizz Piggy's "Piglet" cache today, I decided to hide a letterbox hybrid cache nearby at Piglet's House. Hidden in the winter, so I'm not sure what kind of plant growth you may encounter in the warmer months. Terrain is flat until the last 100 feet... but may be a bit challenging thereafter. Avoid wet or snow covered ground days if possible. You can use your GPSr if you want to, but it might be more fun to follow the letterbox clues below. Bring your own stamp pad.
You shall park on the southeast corner of Wildewood Park in Ralston, near the intersection of Ralston Ave and S 78th Street. From the parking area, follow the sidewalk/bike trail east crossing 78th Street and continue east on the bike trail. Enjoy the scenery as the Hundred Acre Woods unfolds on your right.
Shortly, you should arrive at a foot bridge and just after you have crossed it, the trail would lead you just a bit to your left. Instead, I suggest you follow a similar angle, but to the right rather than the left. Now into the Woods, you will pass a sign post on your way to Piglet's House... remember, it is a very grand house, but not-so-much a beech-tree in these Woods.
Watch your footing on this next part so as not to twist an ankle. Take the high path around to the back of Piglet's grand house and you will find the treasure there. Bring your own stamp pad... I wish you good luck!
The Piglet lived in a very grand house in the middle of a beech-tree, and the beech-tree was in the middle of the forest, and the Piglet lived in the middle of the house. Next to his house was a piece of broken board which had: "TRESPASSERS W" on it. When Christopher Robin asked the Piglet what it meant, he said it was his grandfather's name, and had been in the family for a long time. Christopher Robin said you couldn't be called Trespassers W, and Piglet said yes, you could, because his grandfather was, and it was short for Trespassers Will, which was short for Trespassers William. And his grandfather had had two names in case he lost one - Trespassers after an uncle, and William after Trespassers.
