Mittagong Union Church 1889
This church was built and had the first service in 1889.The church was used for the first time on the 2nd December 1889 by the local congregation.The building is made from hand sawn native pine timber.The outside walls are reinforced by upright braced posts that stop the walls from bowing with the heat and cold.The building has been refurbished with new paint and gutters and downpipes replaced.
The building is a very short walk from the cache and worth the journey
