Geocache Description:

A tribute in memory of our cat.

We realize that this condition (losing one's marbles) is very common for Geocachers, if not a mandatory prerequisite!  If we weren't already crazy we'd probably go nuts!

However, for this cache, it has added meaning for us.  On 12/21/2011 Marbles (the cat) our fuzzy family friend and beloved pet of 15 years passed away. So we are putting this cache out as a tribute to her.

"Marbles, the cat that always purrs
Marbles, she's got the softest furs
Marbles, Ma-Ma-Ma Marbles
She is our kitty, we love her a bunch!"

We often sang this little song to our Brown Tabby cat Marbles ever since we got her in 1997. We swear she'd sit and listen and watch us and keep time to the beat with the swish of her tail! When we got her, the way that her black fur stripes swirled on her sides reminded us of the inside of a cat's eye Marble, hence her name. She was part of our family for most of Papa & Mama Koppertops marriage - and for all of the little Koppertops lives. She gave us many a smile and many a laugh and she had a good life with us. She passed away at home as we petted her good-bye on 12/21/11. She now rests in peace in the back area behind our present home. The cache is located near where we lived when we first got her as a kitten.

The cache is located at King County Whitney Bridge Park.  This makes the access dawn to dusk.  The container is a round lock & lock filled with an assortment of marbles as a prize. Take one & think of her!  FTF prize is a two buck bill.
