Anna Susanna Scheepers 1806 - 1878: Anna Scheepers het die pad langs die steiltes van die Drakensberge vir die trek aangewys en haar gesin voltallig uit die koorsgeteisterde Delagoabaai gebring. Mag Anna Scheepers 'n besieling vir die dogters van ons volk wees. Die monument is opgerig deur die leerlinge van skole in die Vrystaat en inwoners van Ladybrand en distrik: 10 Oktober 1963.

Anna Susanna Scheepers 1806 - 1878: Anna Scheepers showed the route over the hills of the Drakensberg to the "trek" and she got her family safely out of the fever district of Delagoabaai. She will be a example for the daughters of South-Africa. This monument has been build by the peoples of the schools of the Freestate as well as the people of Ladybrand and district: 10 Ocktober 1963.
