Cache is a large plastic jar recycled from another cache location with room for TBs and trade items. Contains log book and pencil. Not winter friendly. 7/24/16 update: Difficulty and terrain rating bumped up .5 each due to changes in the area since cache was first placed.
Bucher Prairie is a brand new Minnehaha County park that popped up during the summer of 2011. It’s located at the intersection of County Highways 121 and 122 west of Garretson. It will be interesting to see what’s in the works for this park, as it currently consists of tall grass with mowed paths, a small pond, a picnic shelter and restrooms. I drove by the area several times before I finally stopped and figured out that it was a park.
