You Will Curse Me, on Rocky Mountain Traditional Cache
wjgrun: Unfortunately with New Jersey State Parks and Forests new geocaching management policy, this cache did not receive a permit and has to be archived (Thankfully 32 of 35 of my geocache hides under their purview did receive permits!).

This cache is located in Ringwood State Park. Park hours are listed
as 8:00AM to 8:00PM. If you approach from Ramapo Valley County
Reservation, know that it's open only during daylight hours.
The cache is a small lock and lock located on Rocky Mountain, 'not
too far' from the Orange (Schuber) trail (bushwhack required). Be
Careful (always, but especially with rain/snow)! The best approach
is not always the most direct approach. There are some STEEP areas
nearby, you may have to take the long way around to be safe. There
are also plenty of thorny areas.
Make sure that you park in a legal area and approach the cache from
park property. There is *NO* parking at Camp Glen Gray,
Midvale Mountain Road, or Bear Swamp Road.
WARNING:
Wildlife: These parks are home to all sorts of
wildlife. I have run across black bear, snakes, deer, lots of TICKS
here (and more).
General: You are responsible for your own safety. Be
observant & cautious of all hazards at all times. Trails,
rocks, etc can be quite slippery when wet or leaf covered, carry a
trail map & cell phone, know how to use your gps, etc.
