Geocache Description:

A Round Knighton Heath #3 Parking is available in Francis Avenue where the walk begins. You are looking for a camo nano. Please only sign log with initials as it is small..... The last log I changed only had 5 names one side..... Thanks A short 8 stage multi approx. 1.6 miles on public footpath/bridleways near the golf club. I think a buggy and All terrain wheelchair would have no trouble on this route as it consists of some tarmac, hard sandy soil or gravel. This is a circular dog walk that our family have done many times. The different dogs over the years all love it … lots of sniffs (so they tell me!) As this is a SSSI area I have been given permission from the Greenspace Maintenance Team (B of P) for these caches but they have asked me to make it clear that there is no need to leave bridleway/tracks to reach the caches and not to cut corners across the heathland. They have just put up gates and cattle grids so I suppose they might graze animals there one day therefore keep dogs on lead if you see livestock. Hope you all enjoy the walk, there are some good views and hopefully you will see a selection of wildlife. I suggest you put inquisitive dogs on a lead after #7 as you will have Golf course to your left and driving range to your right so listen out for the shout of “fore left” and duck! Luckily I have never heard it yet!! Please do not attempt #2-8 at night Congrats to DorsetJohn FTF
