The trail of the tin dragon - St Helens is the East Coast gateway to the Trail. The trail finishes in Launceston.
It is from St Helens that many of the Chinese miners entered Tasmania, walking to the mineral deposits of the Blue Tier, Moorina, Weldborough and further out into the North-East.
St Helens is also significant in that it is located on the eastern-most edge of the largest single granite deposit in Tasmania. Tin is found in granite.
The cache is log only cache it contains a log scroll and pencil.
