Deer Valley High School is a public high school located in Glendale, Arizona. It is part of the Deer Valley Unified School District. The school opened its doors for the first time in 1980 with an enrollment of 750 students. Today, the campus is housed on more than 60 acres (240,000 sq meters), and has a current enrollment of about 1,900 students. Deer Valley High School has long been recognized for outstanding student achievement in a wide range of academic and athletic areas. The school has over a hundred teachers, five counselors, one psychologist, four administrators, and numerous support staff. The school was remodeled for the start of the 2011-12 school year. The current principal is Paul Roskelly
About This Geocache
The cache is located in an area where there are a lot of students getting to and from school during the day. Because of this, I recommend getting the cache during Deer Valley's regular school hours of 7:30pm - 2:15pm or on late evenings. The muggle activity may vary sometimes since the school has early release and late start hours, and also hosts numerous athletic/performing arts events throughout the year. Please use stealth as needed while going to and from the cache site in order to avoid having the cache go M.I.A..
