Walking by this area. Old San Juan is a place where you can visit 500 years of history in one day. The area is dotted with antique homes, churches, and plazas that represent the Caribbean's most priceless architecture. El Viejo San Juan is home to sidewalk cafes, art galleries, museums, and beautifully restored homes. There are several sentry boxes around and this is one of them that you can take an excellent view of La Puerta de San Juan and the Paseo de la Princesa. The Pink house close to this cache was a barrack and later converted to Officers Quaters. Today is a museum.
