Train Set Town: Labadie, MO Multi-Cache

-WARLOCK-: Well I don’t really geocache anymore, and I’ll admit I don’t have the desire to maintain or update the cache due to the changes that have happened in the area of the cache waypoints. This will always be one of my favorite hides I’ve done. The beginning being a tiny sliver of a magnet in the fence with the final coords and the final being a train set piece. It’s been a blast getting logs from all of you throughout the years, especially all of you who were persistent and tried multiple times. I thank all of you who have written lengthy logs and even cursed me up and down over the first waypoint, and given favorite points over the years. I may get back into caching someday, but for now the area can be free for another cacher to hide here.

Geocache Description:

Located in Labadie, MO. A small town that looks much like a train set. This is the first in what I hope to be a series of caches placed in towns that resemble train sets. Please park @ the Labadie Depot on Front St. Don't park at the school.

When I was young, I used to have a train set. I have since grown out of the hobby but still appreciate the hard work that goes into maintaining and building working scale replicas of cities and towns with trains traveling through. At one time I had the opporotunity to do a fly over of the area in a small prop plane and sure enough, this place looked JUST LIKE a train set.

This is a simple two part multi with a tag at the posted coordinates that give the coordinates to the final stage. Have fun and I hope you enjoy my first multi stage cache in Labadie!
