Gratitude Pagoda
The Sunnataram Forest Monastery is a Theravada Buddhist monastery in the Thai forest tradition. It was established in 1990 and since then an incredible amount of work has taken place, the centrepiece being the Gratitude Pagoda (commenced 2003). There are also many other interesting features including views of the valley.
Visitors are welcome, preferably between 1pm and 4pm. Several retreats are also held during the year.
As this is a religious centre and place of meditation, please observe the guidelines on the various signs (the main one is noble silence!).
The cache is located just beyond the boundary and is available 24x7. Please cover as found!
