This cache is call St James, but is located away from the church so you can enjoy the view of the old clock tower, especially in the evening as the sun goes down behind it. The Church is a majestic 700 year old church at the lower end of Twycross village. There is a public footpath that runs from the front of the church, where you can park, to the rear and over the fields to Gopsall. This cache can be found just down the footpath to the rear of the church yard.
There are a number of Caches to be found in Twycross and are located beside roads or footpaths around the village. The footpath through the St James church continues across the back fields to Little Twycross and then beyond to Congerstone or Shackerstone.
In Autumn, this location is ideal for collecting blackberries, slows and damsons, so bring a container.
