Geocache Description:

Micro cache at an Eagle Scout Project in a triangle park.

Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to 21 required merit badges, each Scout must complete a project that benefits their community.
Renovating this triangle property was the Eagle Project of Denis M. of Troop 577 in Bellmore. With the help of his troop and community members and donations from local merchants, they removed a substantial amount of overgrown shrubs, creating three gardens and one large memorial garden complete with a flag pole and a black granite laser engraved memorial that serves as its centerpiece. The girders from the World Trade Center were added more recently.
You are looking for a hidden magnetic key holder, it is not hidden on the steel girders. Please stay off the flora. Be stealthy but be honest about the cache if asked.
After setting up the Cache to Eagle series, I was impressed with so many projects, but larger containers weren't appropriate at many of them.

Eagle Scout Projects give these young men an opportunity to plan, design, manage and complete an entire project that also gives back something to the community. This will be one of several caches beyond the Cache to Eagle series that show the hard work that these young men have planned and completed. I congratulate them all for their dedication and hard work that goes along with this achievement.

Kennedy Half Dollar for FTF!
