Relic Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

coloReido: I think this tree has grown 15 feet since I placed this hide. This one is gone. The location is spared from the nearby construction, but even if I had a replacement container, there just isn't a place to hide it here any more. Besides, once construction is completed Summer 2025, I am sure this will be a great place for a new cache. This one had a great run but it is time say goodbye to this relic and bring in something new.

Geocache Description:

relic \re-lik\ n 4: a trace of some past or outmoded practice, custom, or belief (Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 10th ed.)

Insomniatic and bleuwolf248 came across this container while cleaning out the office. They know me well and asked if I wanted it for a geocache. Some of the younger cachers may not even know for what this container was used. Placed in a lesser-used area of the dog park and crudely camouflaged, the original contents of this cache contain relics of yesteryear:

1. Bomberman (GameBoy Advance version, although the original is from 1983)
2. 10 Pfennig (German coin before transitioning to today's Euro)

FTF Wizard strikes again! Congratulations to Cavyguy for the FTF, and to Capra Hircus for catching cavy red-handed! Congrats also to AkMcseekers for reaching their 100th smiley with this cache!
