Recently, Gamer Son and Gamer Dad had a mega caching day...grabbed 286 geocaches in a single day, largely built upon the three power trails created by the GRIM series. We decided to give back to the general area by also hiding a cache along the way. Note: this is NOT a GRIM-style hide...in fact, it's nowhere near the guard rail across the street...but we were originally considering making this a GRIM...which I guess makes this one a Grim Reaper instead. [:-D]
You are searching for a small-sized camo'ed bottle with room for small trade items. It currently contains a log book and a cool dice-necklace. The terrain is a 2 because you'll need to get on your hands and knees and crawl in to find it. Enter from the South side...there's an obvious entry point.
This shouldn't be a terribly long search...there aren't many places a small-sized cache could hide here...so it's a worthwhile sidetrip for people doing the nearby power trail. It could also be a very cool night time cache as long as you bring flashlights. [;-)]
PLEASE REMEMBER: When you replace the cache, make sure to read the "ADDITIONAL HINT" and place it back exactly where the hint says it should go. Thanks!
Special bonus...as we were hiding the cache, a woman from the parks department (I believe she works in the nearby park) was driving by and asked if we were geocaching. We told her a new one was being hidden here, so she said she'd let Kelly from the park know about it as they like to be on top of the caches hidden nearby.
