Geocaching NSW welcomes all to our first event of 2012 at the
Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, Balls Head Road,
Waverton.
The Coal Loader has recently been transformed from an
ex-industrial site to a place where you can be inspired by
best-practice sustainable technology, community gardens, native
bush nursery, regenerated parklands and much more.
It showcases innovation, enables hands-on learning about
sustainability in everyday life, and serves as a community meeting
point and hub for Council's extensive range of environmental and
sustainability programs.
A representative will provide a short presentation about the
function of the centre, as well as discuss geocaching related
issues in the region.
The event has been organised by Geocaching NSW in association
with the North Sydney Council, who are providing the facilities and
speaker. It will at 10.30 am sharp and wind up around 1.30 pm.
It's also a perfect opportunity for new geocachers to pick up
some tips on finding and hiding geocaches. Don't forget you can
also swap geocoins and travel bugs at the event.
Please register your intention to attend by leaving a 'will
attend' entry on this page.
