High clearance vehicles are recommended as the road is gravel with some sandy and very rough areas. The road has one very soft and loose area (N33 31.155 W113 41.884) that may require you to approach part of the caches from the West and then from the East (Hovatter) road, or use the pipeline road to bypass it.
Remember this is a desert area and there is little traffic, but please pull all the way over and let others pass and use the road safely. Please do not drive off the main roads.
Bring along all necessary safety equipment and lots of water.
Watch for the desert critters and nasty thorns.
