The cache is hidden along Hwy 50 in El Dorado Hills. Do NOT try to access the cache from the highway, but park at the coordinates listed below, and walk about sixty-five yards south across relatively level ground. In order to log this cache, you must first find 50 caches along Hwy 50, as explained below.
************LOGGING REQUIREMENTS************
U.S. Route 50 is a major east-west route of the U.S. Highway system, stretching over three thousand miles. It was created in 1926 and has undergone several modifications over the years. For our purposes we will concern ourselves with the segment between Sacramento (at the Sacramento River) and Stateline, Nevada. Your task is to find 50 caches along this route, each within 500 ft of the highway. Puzzle and LetterBox caches must have their starting coordinates within this 500 ft limit. And, if you have placed caches along this route (and within the specified distance), you may include them on your list.
There is no time limit, you may already have found the required caches. When logging this cache, you must list (or post a link to a list or bookmark of) your cache finds (as I have done). And be sure to include five different categories (icons) of caches on your list. I hope you enjoy driving this scenic route...and don't forget to take your camera.
