I'll admit it, I enjoy reading cache logs. Especially now as a
cache owner I appreciate them more because I know how much effort I
put into finding a location, creating a cache container, writing a
cache page...well, you get the idea. As both a finder and owner I
want to hear about good and bad experiences, finds and DNF's,
because that helps me (and I would hope others) become better at
this sport (yep, I'm calling it a sport!). But lately I've
discovered many folks don't log their DNF's and I haven't a clue
why. When I can't find a cache I log it. What's the big deal? My
ego is not so fragile that it can be bruised by a small piece of
plastic in the woods.
So here's a cache to help boost the ego of those who need it and
a fun little find for everyone else. All I ask is that you post
your experience--find or DNF. Your ego can handle it, right?
While this cache is available in winter, I
strongly suggest you do not attempt it when there is snow or ice
present. It will make attempting this cache dangerous. If you
choose to disregard this warning, you do so at your own
risk.
Hunting season and blaze orange. Know it. Wear it. Love it.
