How The West Was Fun Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cameracowgirl: I was hoping that the local kids had simply relocated the cache to their hideout spot in the woods nearby, like they did last time that it went missing, but it looks like this time the cache has been permanently muggled. [:(] I have to admit that it lasted a lot longer than I thought it would have in this location, especially after the large, flat 10lb rock that was hiding the cache had been muggled within the first year after hiding the cache, but the cache itself stayed--go figure! I think that it's time to archive this cache to make room for new ones. Unfortunately, the logbook had some value to it, as it had been signed by Jeremy Irish, the CEO of Groundspeak. If the logbook turns up anywhere, please help get it back to me.

Geocache Description:

painted L&L

Yee Haw! A great location for a cowboy cache, since it’s a pedestrian trail that is occasionally shared with cowboys and cowgirls when they are out riding.

Trail is disability-friendly, but the cache is not. Disabled cachers will need an able-bodied buddy with them to get the cache.

The cache is filled with little plastic toy cowboys and first nations warriors. The toys have plenty of uses and are not just for re-creating your favorite spaghetti western on your coffee table. They can also be used as an alternative to a traditional player piece in a board game, or as a nifty attachment for a travelbug.

FTF: Horse-head bottle opener keychain. Useful for post-caching celebrations.
