Quick PnG in a small roadside park.
Roadside park cache that will be your first (if traveling south on US 54) or last chance (if traveling north) to grab a quick PnG in Texas. Log and pencil sand travel bug that is eager to start it's journey. New container as of 3/2/2013. Small Lock-n-Lock with room for a little bit of small swag and a few geocoins. Truck friendly parking on both sides of the road. The cache is within the boundary of the roadside park as defined by the mowed area.
The ground is fairly smooth grass/dirt with a little slope. It should be OK for strollers and wheelchairs as long as the ground is dry. Check stroller and wheelchair tires (and kids feet) for stickers before loading up in the car.
CAUTION: The speed limit on the near by rail road track is 70mph. Please keep your kids, pets, and yourself away from the track.
R.V. friendly parking.
