Your going to have to leave the trail on this one ......don't get your feet wet.......To reach the eastern trailhead, watch for the West Penn Trail signs about midway between New Alexandria and Blairsville on Rt. 22. Travel north on Westinghouse Rd. past the plant to the parking area.This is also the Game lands parking area.... (N40 27.061 W79 18.198)
Midway between the two is a parking area at Livermore Cemetary (N40 27.527 W79 20.142). From Rt22 take Livermore Rd. north all the way to the end.........DON'T FORGET THIS IS A HUNTING AREA.......(WEAR ORANGE) during hunting season....BYOP....Trail closed dusk till dawn.......Remember that these caches may not be accessible all the time...During spring thaw and heavy rainy seasons this section of the trail can be under water....I'm forced to try to use water proof and magnetic caches to prevent float away..Since this is the first year placing caches in this area it's going to be all trial and error.........
