We woke up on New Year's Day, 2012, to find a new geocache listed. Ran out and grabbed the first FTF of the year (yayyy!) and, on the way back, drove right by a spot I've been thinking should really have a cache. I searched there a few years back trying to find a stage of a now-archived multi-cache and have had it in the back of my mind ever since.
There are a couple of easy caches in the area...this is not one of them. This cache will be a short adventure. It'll be pretty easy to figure out where the cache is once you get there...HINT: It's magnetic...but getting to the cache won't be quite as easy.
There are three ways to get to this cache. The quickest, dry and (in our opinion) most fun way would be to enter past the gate North of the listed coordinates. More detailed directions are in the additional hint. Note that it's hard to get an exact read on the coordinates at GZ, but the listed coordinates should lead you right to the entry point and then you're only feet away from the cache.
