A quick cache and dash on the tarmac path between William Street and the Kingfisher Way Estate.
Our first ever cache, located on our regular route to Loughborough Church of England Primary School (hence the name of the cache). It can be approached from either William Street or from Adam Dale on the Kingfisher Way estate (off Forest Road). It is a popular route for dog walkers and is suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and bicycles. The cache is within easy reach of the path, however wheelchair users may require assistance to retrieve it.It is partially overlooked by the RNIB college and close to the overflow car park for Loughborough College. The land on which the Kingfisher Way estate now stands (built 2001) was once playing fields for the college. Not surprisingly the path was once very muddy but was tarmacked over after the houses were built.
The cache is a micro-sized container covered in black tape. It contains a log only as there is no room for a pencil.
